Food Insecurity: How it happens and what you can do about it (2011)
The British Red Cross was looking for a way to explain a complex problem in an easily-understandable way for a month-long campaign called "Seeds of Change." The goal of the campaign was to make people more aware of the problem of Food Insecurity throughout the world, and to combat donor fatigue.
While I came up with the concept, wrote the script and managed the production, this video is an excellent example of the amount of collaboration needed to create an effective communication. The video is the result of a lot of work with our media team and our international department to get sign-off on the content and messaging, with our creative designers to make sure the imagery was on-brand and effective, and most of all with two very talented animators, Tom Munday and Robert Grieves to flesh out some of the concepts and bring them to life.
